Pumpkins!

To celebrate October 31st, we gave 2 pumpkins a bath. We were trying to see if the pumpkin would float and most people thought it would sink. To our surprise the pumpkin didn’t sink, but it floated! We decided the pumpkin floats because it has air inside.

Museum of Life and Science

we wnt to soud space. (Peter) We went to the butterfly house. (Jordan) we went outside to play the drums.
(Nicareo) Some of the animals we saw were: owls  and  catfish and alugatrs and butterfly and tarantulas and a dockey. (Maria, Olivia, Sam, and Heather) We learned a lot and it was fun!

A Leaf Man’s got to go Where the Wind Blows…

In class, we read the book A Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert. (Nolan and Bryan) The last page said “Maybe you’ll find a leaf man waiting to go home with you.” (Kylie) So we went outside to pick leaves and find our own leaf man. (Maria)

Mini Meteorologists Making Forecasts

We are meterologists learning about the weather in Alaska, Kenya, Hawaii, and Mexico. (Jordan, Peter, Heather, Tifffany, and Bryan)  Our class used the laptops to find out the temperature, the wind speed, and the average precipitation. (Keyshuwn).
